PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan Sunday in Warri, Delta State, said power supply in the country would be stable by the end of November 2014, as his government was taking every necessary step to check outage.
The President disclosed this at the 25th jubilee anniversary of the Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, founded by President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.
Jonathan, who was the special guest of honour at the ceremony, noted that Nigeria’s technological development depended hugely on stable power supply; hence his government was all out to end outage in November 2014.
President Jonathan also said that there would be no compensation for victims of Boko Haram as such would put huge burden on government. He, however, noted that government would provide assistance to the victims to enable them recuperate from the horrors and damages of the attacks.
